Tottenham are likely to be in the market for a new goalkeeper in the summer and have reportedly been keeping an eye on a lot of potential targets.

Hugo Lloris has been a brilliant servant for Spurs since joining the club in 2012 but errors are now creeping into the 36-year-old’s game.

He has one year left on his contract in north London but could be allowed to leave this summer and Tottenham will need to sign a replacement.

We’ve taken a look at every goalkeeper Tottenham have been linked with since the start of the calendar year.

Premier League

David Raya

Raya has made a massive impact in the Premier League since Brentford’s promotion, but he is approaching the final year of his contract in west London.

The Daily Mail claim that Tottenham are trying to take advantage of the situation and want to sign the goalkeeper for £20m in the summer, although Brentford are holding out for £40m.

Jordan Pickford

Pickford continues to excel for both club and country and recently signed a new long-term contract at Everton that will keep him at the club until 2027.

But that hasn’t put off Tottenham and The Sun claim that the England international is still their first-choice target ahead of the summer transfer window.

Emiliano Martinez

Since joining Aston Villa from Arsenal in 2020, Martinez has established himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League.

According to TyC Sports reporter Gaston Edul, the World Cup winner will leave Villa Park in the summer and Tottenham want to bring him back to north London.

Robert Sanchez

Sanchez started the 2022/23 season as Brighton’s No.1 but looks set to leave the club this summer after falling out of favour with manager Roberto De Zerbi.

A report from Football Insider claims that this news has put Tottenham on high alert and they could make a bid for the 25-year-old.

David de Gea

According to reports in Spain, Tottenham were looking to sign De Gea on a free transfer at the end of the season but he now looks set to sign a new deal at Manchester United.

Dean Henderson

Henderson has spent the 2022/23 season on loan at Nottingham Forest and his long-term future at Manchester United is in doubt after labelling the way he was treated by the club as “criminal”.

According to ESPN, Tottenham are considering a move for the England international, who is valued at around £30m.

Illan Meslier

While Meslier has struggled for form in 2023, the Leeds United No.1 is still regarded as one of the most promising young keepers in Europe.

Football Insider claim that he wants to leave Elland Road in the summer and Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester United have all shown an interest in the shot-stopper.

Gavin Bazunu

Despite being part of a Southampton side that have finished bottom of the Premier League, Bazunu has seemingly done enough to impress Tottenham.

A report from Football Insider claims that the Republic of Ireland international is rising up their shortlist of potential Lloris replacements and a bid in the region of £15m could be enough to seal his signature.

Edouard Mendy

Mendy played a crucial role in Chelsea’s 2020/21 Champions League winning campaign but now faces an uncertain future at Stamford Bridge after falling behind Kepa Arrizabelaga in the pecking order.

According to The Sun, Tottenham scouts have been following the Senegal international closely for some time and they are looking to take advantage of the impending Chelsea firesale.

Caoimhin Kelleher

While Kelleher is highly rated at Liverpool, he’s behind Alisson Becker in the pecking order and has made just three appearances in 2022/23.

The 24-year-old wants regular first-team football and the Irish Independent claim that Tottenham are set to rival Brighton and Brentford for his signature.

La Liga

Jan Oblak

Oblak is viewed as one of the best goalkeepers in the world, having kept an incredible 191 clean sheets in 392 matches for Atletico Madrid.

According to The Evening Standard, the Slovenia international is now ready to move to the Premier League and Tottenham want him to be Lloris’ successor.

Giorgi Mamardashvili

Mamardashvili has been Valencia’s standout performer in 2022/23 but their financial situation will reportedly force them into cashing in on him this summer.

90min recently revealed that the goalkeeper’s representatives visited England in April to speak to Tottenham, Chelsea, Manchester United and Leicester City.

Yassine Bounou

Bounou, otherwise known as Bono, caught the attention of several top European clubs after helping Morocco get to the semi-finals of the World Cup last year.

Reports in Spain suggest that Tottenham have the most concrete interest in the Sevilla goalkeeper and they are willing to offer £17.75m (€20m) to secure his signature.

Serie A

Andre Onana

Onana joined Inter Milan on a free transfer last summer and has enjoyed a brilliant debut season, helping them reach the finals of the Coppa Italia and the Champions League.

Speaking exclusively to TEAMtalk, Graeme Bailey revealed that Spurs are long-term admirers of the Cameroon international and Inter may have to sell some of their prized assets due to their financial situation.

Mike Maginan

Maignan replaced Lloris in the France national team set up and Tottenham reportedly want him to do the same thing in north London.

The AC Milan goalkeeper impressed against Spurs in the Champions League earlier this season and Ben Jacobs recently confirmed that he is on their radar.

Alex Meret

Napoli won the Serie A title in 2022/23 and Meret played an instrumental role in that success, keeping 15 clean sheets in 33 league appearances.

According to Napoli Calcio Live, Tottenham are ready to submit a €40m (£34.7m) offer for the goalkeeper and that figure would be ‘too tempting’ for Napoli to turn down.

Alex Meret and Victor Osimhen of Napoli

Wojciech Szczesny

Fabio Paratici reportedly wanted to sign Szczesny in the January transfer window but was met by a ‘sharp no’ from the former Arsenal goalkeeper.

Guglielmo Vicario

Vicario completed a permanent move to Empoli last summer and has since established himself as one of the best goalkeepers in Serie A.

Calciomercatoweb claim that Tottenham are interested in the 26-year-old but they will face competition from Juventus and Roma.

Other Leagues

Diogo Costa

Costa is widely regarded as one of the top young goalkeepers in European football and has a €75million (£66m) release clause in his Porto contract.

Reports in Portugal suggest Tottenham see the 23-year-old as the ‘ideal solution’ to replace Lloris and have sent several scouts to watch him numerous times this season.

Kevin Mier

Mier plays for Atletico Nacional in Colombia and a Tottenham scout resigned after leaking the club’s interest in the goalkeeper.<

Altay Bayindir

Reports in Turkey suggested that Bayindir had agreed to join Tottenham on a free transfer at the end of the season, but he’s since signed a new long-term contract with Fenerbahce.

Ben Foster

Tottenham wanted to sign Foster in February following Lloris’ injury but their plans were scuppered by the Premier League, and he’s since joined Wrexham.
